On February 24 this year Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev discussed with Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko the issues of further deepening cooperation in the agricultural field.
It was emphasized that this area is one of the "drivers" for the development of Kazakh-Ukrainian cooperation. A number of large joint projects in Kazakhstan are being successfully implemented in the field of meat and dairy farming, processing of oil crops, agricultural machinery, etc. Kazakhstan investors invest in the production of crop, its storage and processing - several elevators and flour mills have been built.
At the same time, several large projects are being worked out, the implementation of which will bring interaction to a qualitatively new level. The parties agreed to make additional efforts in this direction and, for this purpose, organize reciprocal visits of relevant ministers, as well as exchange business delegations.
