Interaction with the Kazakh diaspora is intensifying in Ukraine

On February 11 this year Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev met with the activists of the Kazakh diaspora, representing various regions of Ukraine.

During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat informed about the preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as about the priorities of the Embassy's work, including the issues of supporting compatriots abroad.

In this context, issues of further consolidation of the Kazakh diaspora in Ukraine through joint activities were discussed. According to the general opinion of the participants, one of the main events of this year will be the Kurultai of Kazakhs of Ukraine, during which a number of important decisions is planned, including the establishment of a public association of Kazakhs in Ukraine.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador D.Kaletaev congratulated the President of the kickboxing federation «ISKA Ukraine» Nikolay Akizhanov on receiving the high-ranking award – the Honored kickboxing coach of Ukraine.
