Kazakhstan and Ukraine intend to strengthen cooperation in the field of ecology

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev met with Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Roman Abramovskyi.

During the conversation, the parties discussed further steps to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of environmental protection, waste management, rational use of natural resources, etc.

Abramovskyi highly appreciated Kazakhstan’s steps to develop the "green economy" and thanked for the significant contribution to the efforts of the world community in response to climate change.

The interlocutors agreed to organize mutual visits of the ministers of ecology of the two countries for a more substantive discussion of issues of cooperation in this area both in a bilateral format and within the framework of specialized international structures.
