In Kiev, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine met with the director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies of Ukraine

On January 19, 2021 Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev met with Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies of Ukraine Oleksandr Litvinenko.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged information on the main political and economic trends in the two countries. In particular, the Ambassador informed about the results of the parliamentary election campaign in the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the same time, he stressed that Kazakhstan highly appreciated the active participation in international electoral observation of a group of people's deputies of Ukraine and representatives of the Ukrainian media.

D.Kaletaev spoke about the plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the current state and prospects for the development of Kazakh-Ukrainian cooperation.

In turn, O.Litvinenko informed about the activities of the Institute, including current projects. In this context, the parties agreed to increase cooperation between NISS and Kazakhstani expert structures by concluding appropriate Memorandums and holding joint events.
