Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev paid a working visit to the city of Kharkiv

During the meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev and with First Deputy Mayor of Kharkov Alexander Novak, issues of intensifying interregional cooperation were discussed, i.a. through the establishment of direct ties between Kharkiv and major cities of Kazakhstan, as well as through exchange of business and cultural delegations on a regular basis.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Embassy and the Kharkiv City Council.

During his speech at the international conference "Peculiarities of interaction between local governments and diplomatic missions", the Kazakh diplomat informed about the state of the Kazakh economy in modern conditions, the investment climate of Kazakhstan, the most attractive niches for the development of trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine.

As part of the trip, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the economic, tourist, cultural and educational potential of the city and visited a number of Kharkiv enterprises. Among them is the Kharkiv Aviation Plant, where the order of the Kazakh part for the construction of the An-74 transport and passenger aircraft is performed.
