An event was held in Tatarstan in honor of the Kazakh poet Zhambyl Zhabayev

Kazan, November 30, 2021 - The Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a video conference dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh poet Zhambyl Zhabaev.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Kazan Radik Vakhitov, experts: Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Serik Seidumanov, Professor of the Department of General Linguistics and Turkology of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication (KFU) Alfiya Yusupova, teacher of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai (KazNPU) Roza Bakbergenova, as well as students of KFU and KazNPU, the Kazakh diaspora.

During the conference, the guests got acquainted with the biography and work of the poet, and also the famous works of Zhambyl Zhabaev in the Kazakh and Tatar languages ​​were read and performed.
