Kazakhstan expresses interest in investing in Afghanistan's mining industry

Kabul, March 17 - On the initiative of the Kazakh side, G. Akbassov met with Acting Minister of mines and oil of Afghanistan H. Badri.

During the meeting, G. Akbassov expressed interest on the part of Kazakhstan's businessmen in investing in the mining sector of Afghanistan, in such areas as oil, gas, lead and zinc.

Minister Badri welcomed this interest and assured the diplomats of Afghanistan’s commitment to facilitating investments in accordance with the nation’s mining laws.

This cooperation could pave the way for enhanced economic ties between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, fostering a partnership that benefits both nations.
