Discussion of Kazakhstan-Saudi Arabia Media Cooperation

On November 19, 2024, Mr. Ruslan Kospanov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Jeddah, met with the prominent journalist and blogger Mr. Nizar Al-Ali.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to further collaborate in the media sphere and plans for the future, focusing on broader representation of Kazakhstan in Saudi media.

Since 2023, Nizar Al-Ali has been closely and productively cooperating with the Embassy and Consulate General of Kazakhstan. In September of this year, the Saudi journalist visited Astana to cover the 5th World Nomad Games. Thanks to the video reports and publications in social media and traditional media outlets prepared by Nizar Al-Ali, the Nomad Games received significant coverage in Saudi Arabian media.

In this regard, during the meeting on behalf of Mr. Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, the Consul General presented a Letter of Appreciation to Nizar Al-Ali for his contribution and efforts in promoting Kazakh cultural and historical values and traditions, as well as popularizing Kazakhstan as an attractive tourist destination.
