Kazakhstan is interested in further development of projects with the Islamic Development Bank

During the meeting of the Ministry of National Economy, Executive of the Islamic Development Bank from Kazakhstan, A.Kuantyrov with the Head of the Regional Office of IBD in Almaty Ibrahim Shoukry,

the results of the work and further plans of the IDB in Kazakhstan, as well as the Bank's proposals for the development of infrastructure and the use of Islamic financing instruments in our country, were discussed.

I. Shoukry noted that the IDB is actively implementing projects in Central Asia and is ready to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan.

"The Central Asian region is developing dynamically and has significant growth potential. We are ready to further strengthen bilateral cooperation with the IDB in the most important areas," - the head of the Ministry of National Economy pointed out.

In this regard, it was proposed to intensify cooperation in the field of infrastructure, food and water security.
