THE DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF CIVIL AVIATION BETWEEN KAZAKHSTAN AND FINLAND IS ON THE AGENDA OF BILATERAL COOPERATION

Helsinki, April 29, 2025 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan Azamat Abdraimov visited Finnair's headquarters, where he met with the airline's vice Presidents Antti Tolvanen and Sami Lahdensuo. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of civil aviation. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of restoring direct flights between Astana and Helsinki to strengthen trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries, as well as to enhance B2B contacts.

The parties agreed to explore the possibilities of resuming the route and noted the growing potential for tourist and business travel between Kazakhstan and Finland.
