Further Steps to Strengthen Interregional Ties Discussed in the City of Vantaa

Vantaa, October 1, 2024 –Ambassador of Kazakhstan Azamat Abdraimov held a meeting with the Mayor of Vantaa Pekka Timonen.

Vantaa is an international logistics hub and a driver of Finland’s economic growth. Vantaa in 2021 was recognized as a European city innovator in the Rising Innovative City category.

At the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues related to further strengthening of interregional ties. The main attention was paid to trade, economic and investment areas, as well as issues of transport and logistics cooperation, food industry, sustainable development, green energy and innovation.

In conclusion, the parties stressed the importance of continuing the dialogue and strengthening bilateral ties, confirming their readiness to develop partnership in the interests of both sides.
