Second batch of humanitarian aid from Jack Ma arrives in Almaty

On 1 May 2020, the second batch of humanitarian aid from the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation was delivered to Almaty in the form of test systems (50,016 units) and lung ventilators (30 units).

The humanitarian cargo was received by a single distributor, SK-Pharmacy, for further distribution among medical institutions.

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses gratitude to the Jack Ma and Alibaba foundations for such significant assistance in the fight against COVID-19.

On 10 April 2020, Jack Ma transferred more than 4.5 tonnes of medical protection equipment to Kazakhstan (medical masks, protective suits, medical gloves, contactless thermometers).
