The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Regional Development of Vietnam

Hanoi, Decmber 18, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Tumysh held a meeting with Vice Minister of Agriculture and Regional Development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Fung Duc Tien.

During the meeting, some topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed. This includes the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine, the holding of the 2nd meeting of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, as well as the development of cooperation in the field of livestock and aquaculture.

The Kazakh diplomat also informed about the key aspects of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State of the Nation Address “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Social Optimism” dated September 2, 2024 and the results of the national referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant.

The Vietnamese side, noting the positive cooperation with the Embassy, expressed readiness to provide appropriate assistance to the Kazakh side within the framework of cooperation in the field of agro-industrial complex.
