Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Department of Consular Service of Vietnam

Hanoi, November 14, 2024 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Tumysh held a meeting with Ms. Phan Thị Minh Giang, acting director of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the meeting, some topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries were discussed. Among them, consular-legal, logistics and tourist, as well as the appointment of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Kazakh diplomat also informed about the key aspects of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State of the Nation Address “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Social Optimism” dated September 2, 2024 and the results of the national referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant.  

In general, the Vietnamese side noted the positive cooperation with the Embassy and expressed readiness to provide appropriate assistance to the Republic of Kazakhstan in the areas of consular, visa, legal, tourist, transport and other fields.
