The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chairwoman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Huong Giang

On September 22nd, 2024, a meeting was held between the Kazakh Ambassador to Vietnam Kanat Tumysh and the recently appointed Chairwoman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Huong Giang.

An exchange of views took place on current topical issues related to Kazakh-Vietnamese cooperation, in particular the cooperation between the East Kazakhstan region and Bac Ninh Province. The two parties discussed about a twinning city memorandum between the two aforementioned regions, as well as some other potential cooperation exchanges in the future.

Also during this trip to Bac Ninh, Ambassador Kanat Tumysh also attended the Conference on Announcement of the Planning and Investment Promotion for Bac Ninh Province 2024, with the attendance of Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh. At the event, Ambassador Tumysh had a meeting with the Prime Minister, where they discussed some important topics of bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as prospects for expanding interaction to a qualitatively new level, in particular, the upcoming exchanges of the visits on the highest and high levels.

The Vietnamese side once again confirmed its general support to Kazakhstan's approaches to deepen further bilateral relations.

The meetings were held in an atmosphere of friendship, cooperation and mutual respect.
