Kazakhstan attracts investments from leading Vietnamese Electric Company

On January 16, 2024, Ambassador Kanat Tumysh, as part of the work of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to attract investments, visited the factories of the Vietnamese company "LiOA" in Bac Ninh province and held talks with his leadership.

LiOA is one of Vietnam's most popular brands producing electrical, electronics and home appliances for Vietnamese consumers. The final product of LiOA is produced at the expense of Natural Resources recycled by it. In 2023, the total turnover of this company amounted to 300 million US dollars.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Chi Linh, Chairman of LiOA, gave the Ambassador a briefing and presentation on the company's production processes, strategy, key areas of activity and current activities. According to him, the company will soon complete the study of the prospects for entering the Kazakh market and send a delegation of high-ranking officials to the country of the Great Steppe.

It should be noted that as a result of consultations with LiOA, a preliminary agreement was reached that this company will invest in the national economy in the construction of a plant in Kazakhstan or modernization of existing plants for the production of electrical equipment containing coarse copper through cooperation with relevant local authorities, Industry ministries, electric and mining companies in Kazakhstan.

Ambassador Kanat Tumysh assured that he will provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of joint initiatives with LiOA.
