The Ambassador of Kazakhstan took part in a round table with the participation of Vietnamese businessmen

On December 13, 2023, Kazakh Ambassador Kanat Tumysh spoke in Hoai Duc, a suburb of Hanoi, at a specially organized round table dedicated to investment cooperation between the two countries, among business circles uniting in a trade and investment hub interested in cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador noted the investment potential of Kazakhstan, doing business in the country, as well as the ongoing reforms within the framework of the President's Address to the People of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2023.

He also spoke about the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan ”On measures to improve the efficiency of attracting investments into the country's economy.”

The Vietnamese companies that spoke expressed high interest in establishing cooperation with Kazakhstani counter-partners. According to them, the two countries have the full potential to increase the volume of foreign investments of the two countries.

Following the results of the event, the parties agreed on a regular meeting in January 2024 for a detailed discussion of all issues.

This event confirmed the mutual interest of Kazakhstan and Vietnam to develop further cooperation in the investment area.
