Kazakh Ambassador met with Vice-Speaker of Vietnamese Parliament

Ambassador Kanat Tumysh met in Hanoi with a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh to discuss the results of his working visit to Astana and Almaty from September 24 to 28 this year.

During the meeting, some topical issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries were considered. In particular, Nguyen Khac Dinh highly appreciated the results of the visit and expressed his gratitude to the Kazakh side. The head of the Vietnamese Parliament noted that the invitation of Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Koshanov to make an official visit to Kazakhstan, addressed to Chairman of the National Assembly Mr. Vuong Dinh Huang, was received with great gratitude. The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam proposed to sign a memorandum «on fraternal relations» between the city of Almaty and the Vietnamese province of Khan Hoa. According to him, this memorandum will significantly contribute to the promotion of tourism, trade and economic cooperation between the two regions.

In general, Mr. Nguyen Khaс Dinh expressed his readiness to fully support the work aimed at bringing Kazakh-Vietnamese Inter-Parliamentary relations to a new level in the coming years. He informed that the supervisory committees of the National Assembly of Vietnam gave relevant instructions to intensify work with Kazakhstan.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere, aimed at raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
