Ambassador Kanat Tumysh met with Mr. Pham Hai Anh, Director General of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which oversees international organizations

On October 10, 2023, Ambassador Kanat Tumysh met with Mr. Pham Hai Anh, Director General of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which oversees international organizations.

During the meeting, some topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries were considered, which are of critical importance for Kazakhstan. In particular, the 67th Session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which began in September 2023, the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly, as well as the common initiatives of the Central Asian countries, which will be held in Geneva from September 11 to October 13, 2023 and will be considered during the 54th session of the UN Human Rights Council, after which the conversation was focused on the promotion of Kazakhstan's candidacy for the post of Chairman of the UN General Assembly in 2031-2032 and the UN Security Council in 2039-2040.

In turn, Mr. Pham Hai Anh noted the general support of Kazakhstan's initiatives, given the high level of relations between the two countries.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere aimed at raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
