Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented copies of credentials

Hanoi, September 12, 2023 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Mr. Kanat Tumysh presented copies of credentials to the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Chief of the State Protocol Service of Vietnam Nguyen Viet Dung.

During the conversation, the Ambassador thanked the Vietnamese side for its assistance in organizing a very successful official visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Vietnam on August 20-22 this year. He also reported on the preparations for the state visit of Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong to Kazakhstan scheduled for June 2024 and the holding of the Days of Culture of Vietnam in Kazakhstan next year, an agreement on which was previously reached earlier.

In addition, Mr. Kanat Tumysh informed the interlocutor about the main elements of the large-scale reforms of the Head of State aimed at the comprehensive development of our country and the construction of a Fair Kazakhstan. In particular, about the main tasks outlined by him in the Address to the People of Kazakhstan «The Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan» dated September 1, 2023.

The sides also discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations and topical issues of the international agenda.

The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere aimed at raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level in the coming years.
