Kazakhstan and Vietnam promoting innovation and technological cooperation

On October 29th, 2025, Ambassador Kanat Tumysh paid a visit to the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization, under the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, where he met with Director General Pham Hong Quat.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the outcomes of General Secretary To Lam’s official visit to Kazakhstan, the establishment of cooperation with Kazakh counterparts, and the exchange of experience in technology commercialization and innovation management.

They also touched upon the potential visit of a Vietnamese delegation to Kazakhstan in December 2025, aimed at deepening collaboration in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation in science and technology, encouraging joint projects, research exchange, and knowledge transfer between innovation ecosystems of both countries.

The meeting further demonstrated the shared vision of Kazakhstan and Vietnam in promoting sustainable development and technological advancement for mutual benefit.
