The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands, in collaboration with Kazakh Invest, organized a visit for Kazakh farmers to the Netherlands on November 27-28, 2024. The visit aimed to strengthen ongoing cooperation in agricultural inspection and explore the future potential of Kazakhstan's seed breeding industry.
During the visit, participants held fruitful meetings with representatives of NAK (the Dutch General Inspection Service for Agricultural Seeds and Seed Potatoes) in Emmeloord. NAK representatives acknowledged Kazakhstan's impressive achievements in agricultural inspection, highlighting that its standards are already on par with those of the European Union. They emphasized that Kazakhstan possesses all the capabilities to further elevate its standards in this area.
The visit also spotlighted the educational courses provided by NAK and Naktuinbouw for Kazakh sanitary experts. These courses underscore the shared commitment to fostering expertise and collaboration in agricultural development.
This visit not only facilitated knowledge exchange but also reinforced the Netherlands' role as a key partner in advancing Kazakhstan's agricultural sector. The ongoing collaboration promises to yield significant benefits for both nations, particularly in enhancing agricultural innovation and seed industry growth.
