The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands presented the culture of the country, as well as the work of local masters at the Embassy Festival in The Hague.
On September 3 the Hague hosted the most anticipated cultural event of the year – the Embassy Festival. The event brought together representatives of 55 countries, including Kazakhstan.
The Embassy presented the national flavor of our country in the form of an impromptu yurt, inside which there were all the relevant attributes. Guests could try on shapan, camisole, saukele, as well as taste of hot baursaks, kurt, and chak-chak.
Foreign guests highly appreciated the organized photo zone in the form of a yurt.
At the second stand, everyone had the opportunity to purchase works by Kazakhstani artists, illustrators, needlewomen.
The proceeds, as well as their one-day earnings, were sent by the embassy staff to the Unified Aid to victims of a fire in the Kostanay region.
