Kazakhstan adopts best practices in agribusiness from the Netherlands

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands and Kazakh Invest JSC, with the support of the Dutch Greenhouse Delta, organized a round table with the participation of about 30 representatives of the agro-industrial business of the two countries. During the event the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands Askar Zhumagaliyev highly appreciated the role of the Netherlands in the development of the agricultural complex of Kazakhstan.

“Last year we visited more than 70 Dutch agricultural companies. We got acquainted with their latest resource-saving technologies, management and export strategy, which together led to high results in the development of the industry. The Dutch experience once again confirms the importance of diversifying the economy of Kazakhstan, where the development of agriculture is a priority,” Askar Zhumagaliyev said during the round table.

That’s why the Embassy is paying attention to attracting Dutch investments and technologies to the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan, where there is great potential for mutually beneficial cooperation.

“We see the outstanding results of the Netherlands in the development of the agricultural sector. Therefore, by strengthening business ties between the two countries, Kazakhstan adopts the best experience in the agro-industrial complex from the Netherlands,” A. Zhumagaliyev added.
