Ambassador of Kazakhstan visited the OPCW Centre for Chemistry and Technology construction site

The Hague, March 3, 2022 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands and the Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Askar Zhumagaliyev was invited by the OPCW Director General Fernando Arias to visit the construction of the Centre for Chemistry and Technology. It should be mentioned that earlier Kazakhstan has contributed financially to the construction of the ChemTech Centre.

A.Zhumagaliyev along with the other Ambassadors was acquainted with the progress of the construction of the ChemTech Centre and the timing of its completion.

During the visit F.Arias expressed gratitude to the representatives of all countries that provided financial support to the OPCW in building the ChemTech Centre and also told the guests about its high importance and future prospects.
