The event dedicated to Kazakh Day of Gratitude was held in the Kingdom of the Netherlands

February 20, 2021, The Hague - Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of the Netherlands in cooperation with Kazakhstani Association in the Netherlands Qazaq House Foundation held an event “Stay warm, drink Kazakh tea” dedicated to the Day of Gratitude. Within the framework of this event, the residents of the city were offered treats in the form of hot tea and baked goods in accordance with national traditions; the visitors were told about the history and celebration of the Day of Gratitude in Kazakhstan and were presented with the book of the great Abai Kunanbayev "Words of Wisdom", translated into Dutch language.

 

The Day of Gratitude is celebrated in Kazakhstan on March 1 according to the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. Nazarbayev. This day commemorates the kindness, tolerance and respect of ethnic groups to each other, creating an atmosphere of friendship and strengthening the unity of peoples (about 130 nationalities live in friendship and harmony in Kazakhstan).
