Ambassador of the Kazakhstan O.Onalbayev participated in the ceremony of launching a container train from Iran to China

On July 21, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Iran O.Onalbayev participated in the ceremony of launching a container train from Iran to China through the territories of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Construction - Director General of Railways of Iran M.Salehi, representatives of the Iranian railway industry, embassies of China and Turkmenistan, as well as the media.

Ambassador O.Onalbayev in his speech noted that the launch of this freight train will contribute to the development of transport corridors and an increase in transit cargo flow between the countries of the region, as well as the accelerated transit of goods from China to Europe through the territories of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Iran.
