Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan Honored for Digital Diplomacy Efforts
Geneva, February, 4, 2025 – The Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Office in Geneva has been awarded second place in the ‘Permanent Representations’ category at the prestigious Geneva Engage Awards organized by Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) and DiploFoundation.
Marking its 10th anniversary, the awards recognize outstanding contributions by Geneva-based international organizations, NGOs and diplomatic missions in digital outreach, accessibility, and innovative engagement.
Kazakhstan’s Permanent Mission was recognized for its active role in leveraging digital platforms to communicate global policy discussions, engage with international communities, and promote transparency.
"We are honored by this recognition, which reaffirms our commitment to digital diplomacy and inclusive global dialogue," stated Mission’s Counsellor Ilyas Akhmetov. "Our mission remains dedicated to fostering meaningful engagement through innovative communication."
