Geneva, November 22, 2022 - The Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan took part in the annual Сharity Bazaar "United for Children" organized by the United Nations Women's Guild at the Palais des Nations.
In her welcoming remarks, H.E. Ms. Tatiana Valovaya, Director General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, noted that with its cultural diversity and noble goals, the Bazaar embodies the UN values.
Delegations from more than 60 countries took part in the event. Every year it attracts hundreds of guests from all over the world: diplomatic corps, international organizations, NGOs and the general public.
The Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan participates in the Charity Bazaar every year. This time, each participant had the opportunity, without visiting Kazakhstan, to get to know our culture and history better and taste national food. In addition, original souvenirs and gifts were presented to the guests.
The main goal of the fair is to unite efforts to help children who find themselves in a difficult situation. All the funds raised will be donated to implement the projects in support of children around the world.
