On the meeting of Kazakh Permanent Representative with representatives of Latter-day Saint Charities organization

Geneva, April 13, 2022 – Mr. Yerlan Alimbayev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN and other International Organizations in Geneva met with Rulon and Jacqueline Manns, representatives of the Geneva office of the ECOSOC-accredited Latter-day Saint Charities organization. They spoke about the activities of this organization, including in Geneva and Kazakhstan.

The Geneva office of the organization promotes interaction between non-governmental organizations accredited by ECOSOC and diplomatic missions. They emphasized that their organization had been participating in humanitarian projects in Kazakhstan for several years, providing assistance to victims of natural disasters, the disabled, hospitals and clinics.

At the end of the meeting, Yerlan Alimbaev expressed his gratitude to the representatives of the charitable organization for the briefing and interest in possible bilateral cooperation in the future.
