Tourism opportunities of Kazakhstan discussed in Yerevan

Yerevan, June 29, 2022 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev met with tourism companies of Armenia, during which he informed about the tourism potential of Kazakhstan, as well as measures of state support for the tourism industry and attracting new investments. Representatives of travel companies noted the growing interest of Armenian tourists to Kazakhstan.

The tour operators thanked for the organization and the opportunity to participate in the presentation tour "Road Show" in Almaty and Almaty region in the period from June 30 to July 4 this year, aimed at promoting the tourist product of Kazakhstan in the Armenian market, as well as for establishing business contacts. This is the third such event in the last month, the first two were held in Armenia for bloggers, media and travel companies from Kazakhstan.

The Armenian side expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of tourism. During the conversation, the importance of the opening of a direct regular flight of FlyArystan airlines on the Almaty–Yerevan–Almaty route from June 2 this year, the development of the Nur-Sultan–Yerevan–Nur-Sultan air service, as well as the current regular flight on the Aktau–Yerevan–Aktau route of SCAT airlines was emphasized.
