Bakhyt Sultanov offers Armenia joint projects in e-commerce

The global COV1D-19 pandemic has unwittingly served as a driver for the development of digitalization in all areas.

In 2020, the volume of the e-commerce market in Kazakhstan increased by 2 times, reaching a share of 9.7% of the total volume of retail B2C trade.

This was announced by the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov on May 26, 2021 at the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kazakh-Armenian Commission on Economic Cooperation.

The processes of economic interaction require increasing integration of digital platforms, information flows and databases.

"Given that digitalization has become an integral part of the successful development of the economy of any state, I propose to implement joint projects in this direction. We have good practices in the field of electronic accreditation of subjects in the field of conformity assessment, consumer protection, at the stage of implementation of the project on the "social wallet", - said the Minister.

In general, there is a large-scale reauthorization of the "E-gov" system, within which the Ministry of Trade of Kazakhstan already has good experience.
