On June 22-24, 2023, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan V.Turekhanov participated in the IX International Trade Fair "Sugd-2023"

On June 22-24, 2023, the working visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan V.Turekhanov to the Sughd region took place.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Sughd region R.Akhmadzoda, at which issues of cooperation between the regions of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan were discussed in detail in the context of the implementation of the instructions of the heads of state following the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan E.Rahmon to the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 3-4, 2023.

The state and prospects of joint work on increasing mutual trade and attracting investments were considered, as well as possible areas of interaction between Kazakh companies and entrepreneurs of the Sughd region of Tajikistan, including in the field of processing raw materials and production of high-value-added goods.

During the visit to Khujand, the head of the Kazakh diplomatic mission took part in the IX International Trade Fair "Sugd-2022", and also visited a number of joint Kazakh-Tajik manufacturing enterprises.
