The President received the owners of Power International Holding

During the conversation, the progress of major investment projects in the energy and telecommunications sectors was discussed.

Power International Holding (PIH) is involved in the construction of gas processing plants in Kashagan, the second line of the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent gas pipeline, as well as a new compressor station and the Aktobe-Kostanay main gas pipeline. As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized, these projects will make a huge contribution to strengthening the country's energy security.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of PIH Moutaz Al-Khayat shared plans for the implementation of agreements reached with the Kazakh side on these investment projects.

The company is also negotiating the construction of a combined-cycle gas turbine unit in the Kyzylorda region and the installation of interregional electrical networks.

In addition, the heads of the Qatari conglomerate expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence.

The head of state confirmed the readiness of the Government of Kazakhstan to provide Qatari investors with favorable conditions and noted the importance of implementing these projects at a high level.
