Ways to develop cooperation in the field of security discussed with Qatar

Doha, November 22, 2023 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Qatar, Arman Issagaliyev, met with the Minister of State for Interior Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani, and discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the two countries.

During the conversation, Ambassador Arman Issagaliyev emphasized the importance of coordinated work between the ministries of internal affairs in connection with the growing number of tourists between the two countries and the increasing frequency of direct flights.

The Qatari Interior Minister noted that Doha is one of the safest cities in the world according to international estimates and said that the Ministry’s priority is to ensure the safety of residents and visitors of the city.

In addition, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Thani expressed his readiness to exchange experience with his Kazakh colleagues in the field of ensuring road safety, migration and fight against crime.

Following the meeting, the parties noted the mutual desire of the two countries to intensify joint cooperation and agreed to continue work on further expansion of the legal framework.
