Kazakh companies came to the Qatar agricultural exhibition

16 Kazakhstani companies took part in the next international exhibition of agricultural, veterinary and environmental technologies "AgriteQ" and "EnviroteQ", which takes place in Qatar from March 15 to 19.

This year Kazakhstan is represented at this exhibition by domestic producers of agricultural products, in particular, canned food, dried fruits, poultry meat, dairy products, feed, natural juices, honey, sunflower oil, mare's milk and pasta, as well as the Kazakh National Research Institute of Processing and Food Industry and the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a conference was held on the topic “Initiatives, opportunities and projects in the world of agriculture”, where the head of the Kazakh delegation - the Head of the Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine of the Akimat of Shymkent A.Zhanbatyrov spoke. In his speech, the representative of the Akimat informed the audience in detail about the potential of the Kazakh agricultural sector, the measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to develop this industry and support Kazakh agricultural producers.

A delegation of the Islamic Organization for Food Security is also taking part in the exhibition.
