A solemn reception dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Doha

On October 25, 2022, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Qatar organized a reception on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by members of the Government of Qatar and the ruling family, heads of state bodies, large national and private companies, heads of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Doha, public figures, representatives of academia and the Kazakh diaspora, as well as the country's leading media and bloggers.

In his speech, Ambassador A.Issagaliyev focused on the main achievements of Kazakhstan and the important stages of its formation as a strong, independent state. The diplomat emphasized the unprecedented reforms of our country in the political and economic sphere under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K-Zh.Tokayev, aimed at further stable and dynamic development of the state, also spoke about the upcoming presidential elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Touching upon the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Qatar, A.Issagaliyev noted with great satisfaction the significant intensification of cooperation in recent years. The Ambassador spoke in detail about the results of the state visit of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani to Kazakhstan on October 12-13, which launched the establishment of a strategic partnership between the two states.

The reception program was full of national musical performances. Also, according to a good tradition, the guests were offered a variety of dishes of Kazakh cuisine, which were enjoyed by all those present.
