President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev awarded the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with the Order of "Altyn Kyran"

President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev presented the highest state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Order of "Altyn Kyran" to the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who is in Kazakhstan on a state visit.

During the award ceremony, the Head of our State noted the authority of the Emir of Qatar among compatriots, his wisdom in leading the country and outstanding personal qualities, as well as a significant contribution to maintaining security and stability in the world.

As Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev recalled, at a recent meeting with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha, an agreement was reached to establish a strategic partnership between the two states. The President of Kazakhstan stressed that he would make every effort to further strengthen friendly relations.

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, said that he was glad to visit our country for the second time, and expressed gratitude to Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev for presenting the highest award of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
