The first commercial charter flight to Qatar arrived from Kazakhstan

On January 10, this year, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Doha Arman Issagaliyev took part in a solemn event to welcome the first commercial charter flight from Kazakhstan to Qatar. This air service was launched jointly with Visit Qatar and tour operator Kazunion Touroperator and will operate two commercial flights a week from Astana, Almaty and back by FlyArystan.

Speaking to the audience, the Kazakh diplomat noted the positive trend in the growth of tourist flow, and expressed confidence that this charter flight will significantly increase tourist and cultural exchange between Kazakhstan and Qatar.

Kazakhstan is one of the 15 targeted tourism markets for Qatar. Commercial charter flights are part of a tourist package prepared by Kazunion, which includes flights and accommodation for travelers who want to get acquainted with the rich art and culture of Doha.

Kazunion, founded in 2009, is one of the largest tour operators in Kazakhstan with six offices in three countries around the world, as well as having a wide network of partners, numbering 5,000 agencies in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
