President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani

Today, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani called the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by phone to discuss the situation in Kazakhstan. The President informed His Highness about the measures taken to resolve the situation and strengthen security and stability in Kazakhstan.

In turn, the Emir of Qatar expressed confidence in the ability of the authorities of fraternal Kazakhstan to overcome this crisis and return to normal life. 

During the conversation, ways to expand cooperation between the two countries were also discussed.
