Kazakhstan was represented at the largest international tourism exhibition in Qatar
On November 16-18, the international tourism exhibition "Qatar Travel Mart" was held for the first time in the largest exhibition center of Doha, where Kazakh tourism was presented by three pavilions at once.
"Qatar Travel Mart", the first of its kind exhibition aimed at supporting the competitiveness of Qatar's tourism industry by combining inbound and outbound tourism, ensuring direct contacts of Qatari residents with foreign travel companies.
The event presented the most popular tourist destinations, real estate development projects and current trends in the field of luxury, business, medical, sports, halal tourism.
One of the Kazakhstan pavilions presented to foreigners the tourist opportunities of the East Kazakhstan region, which is distinguished by the uniqueness of natural resources, a variety of natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage.
Another pavilion represented the city with the most developed tourist infrastructure - Almaty. The participation of the Southern Capital is of particular importance in connection with the opening of a direct flight to Almaty from Doha on November 19.
Various printed and video materials describing the beauty of Kazakhstan, which can attract the attention of foreign tourists, were presented in the pavilion of our Embassy. A separate corner was allocated for the presentation of Turkestan, the capital of the Turkic world.
During the event, a number of Kazakhstani tour operators presented their travel offers, meetings were held in the B2B and B2C format. Citizens of Kazakhstan living in Doha and Kazakhstani students contributed to the holding of this exhibition.
The stands of the East Kazakhstan region and Almaty aroused the genuine interest of both other participants of the exhibition and residents of Qatar who came to get acquainted with possible new points for their tourist trips.
