The Supreme Mufti met with a delegation from Qatar

Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Supreme Mufti Nauryzbai kazhi Taganuly received a delegation from Qatar in the capital.

The meeting was attended by Hassan Zabib, Head of Project Management of the Qatar Development Fund, Anoud Mohammed Al-Kawari, a researcher of the fund's project, Nasr Mohammed Al-Jabr, a researcher on administrative issues, Alex Hanna, Director of Khatib Alemi, and Mashhour Shaar, a representative for Central Asia.

The bilateral meeting was mainly of a business nature. The parties discussed the expansion of the Nur Astana mosque in the capital, its transformation into a new modern facility. It was noted that during the construction of the mosque with the support of Qatar, the climatic conditions of the country, classrooms, necessary premises, in short, modern requirements were not taken into account.

During the meeting, representatives of the fund said that they had reached a general agreement on the project. At the end of the meeting, the Supreme Mufti thanked the guests and presented souvenirs according to Kazakh customs.
