The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Qatar

On August 10, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Doha A. Issagaliyev held a meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Qatar, Co-Chairman of the Kazakhstan-Qatar High-level Commission Ali bin Ahmad Al-Kuwari.

During the meeting, parties discussed the upcoming visit to Doha of the delegation headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan-the co – Chairman of the IPC from the Kazakh side, Smailov A. for discussing priority areas of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and the implementation of promising investment projects in Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the delegation's visit to Qatar, it is planned to hold negotiations with the country's leadership, members of the government and heads of national companies, as well as meeting of the Kazakh-Qatari Business Council.

At the meeting with the minister, such important issues as the organization of the state visit of the Emir of Qatar to Nur-Sultan, the opening of direct flights, as well as the increase in trade turnover between the two countries were also raised.
