Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of Qatar

On October 26, 2020, Ambassador A. Issagaliyev met with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi, to discuss priority directions for developing cooperation in the field of education and science.

This ministry has done a great job to improve the quality of education and opened branches of the best foreign universities in Qatar.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat noted the great potential for full-scale cooperation in the educational and scientific spheres. Particularly, they discussed the possibility of providing grants in leading universities of both countries and organizing the exchange of students and teachers.

On the upcoming state visit of the Emir of Qatar to Kazakhstan, it is planned to sign an Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar on cooperation in the field of education, higher education and scientific research.
