New investment opportunities of Kazakhstan were presented at the webinar «Kazakhstan-India: Economic Cooperation during the Global Challenges»

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of India jointly with the “Kazakh Invest” National Company”JSC hosted a webinar entitled: «Kazakhstan-India: Economic Cooperation during the new Global Challenges».

The event was attended by the senior management and experts of the “Kazakh Invest”, Honorary Consuls of Kazakhstan in India, as well as more than 115 representatives of large Indian businesses in the field of pharmaceuticals, construction, chemical industry, energy, infrastructure, textile, food industry and many more.

In his speech, Kazakh Ambassador to India Yerlan Alimbayev noted the dynamic growth of bilateral relations. Trade turnover in five months of 2020 reached $ 1,57 billion. Trade and investment cooperation has been increasing accordingly. Kazakh diplomat called Indian business community for effective use of the existing potential between the two countries. At the same time, in order to increase the level of cooperation, he called for active participation in new investment projects.

During the webinar, representatives of the "Kazakh Invest" made several presentationsabout new investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and answered online questions of participants.

Participants expressed their gratitude for hosting such a webinar in the current pandemic and shared their views that it will have a positive effect in the future.

The Kazakh Embassy in New Delhi and the “Kazakh Invest” are going to host such webinars on various sectors of the economy with the regions of Kazakhstan.
