Fruitful development of cooperation with large companies of Egypt

Cairo, October 24, 2024 - The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Egypt Kairat Lama Sharif met with Ahmed Mustafa El-Assar, the Chairman of "Arab Contractors" (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.), one of the leading construction companies in the Middle East and Africa.

During the meeting, it was mentioned that our President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attaches great importance to the field of tourism in the country and emphasizes the importance of intensifying work in this direction. In addition, extensive information was provided about the possibilities and future of the country's tourist regions.

In the context of the conversation, attention was drawn to the fact that favorable conditions are being created in Kazakhstan for foreign investors. Among them, in order to optimize the work, it was reported that the Government was instructed to launch special programs "Digital Nomad Visa" and "Digital Nomad Residency" from October this year.

At the same time, the parties agreed that it is important to deliver ancient monuments as a legacy to future generations, and talked about carrying out work to preserve them. It was reported that the protection and research of historical and cultural heritage objects in the country is carried out according to the requirements specified in the laws "On Culture" and "On Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage Objects". At the same time, the Ambassador invited the said company to participate in the restoration of monuments from the Mamluk period in Egypt and relics from ancient times in the country. The Egyptian side expressed its agreement, and the parties agreed to start activities aimed at the implementation of joint projects in the near future.
