Kazakhstan and Egypt Strengthen Cooperation in Training Africa Specialists

Cairo, November 3, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Arab Republic of Egypt Askar Zhengis met with Mohamed Abdelsadek, President of Cairo University, to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation in higher education and strengthening people-to-people ties between Kazakhstan and Egypt.

The meeting focused on developing African studies programs and promoting the study of widely spoken African languages. Ambassador Zhengis noted that as Kazakhstan expands its diplomatic presence across the African continent, the demand for specialists with in-depth knowledge of African languages and cultures continues to grow.

Both sides highlighted the historical significance and academic excellence of Cairo University – one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in the Arab world – and discussed opportunities for cooperation in medicine, new technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
