Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Busan recently met with the Secretary General of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities Mr. U Kyung-Ha

Busan, October 01, 2024 - Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Busan Aslan Askar recently met with the Secretary General of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO), Mr. U Kyung-Ha.

During the meeting, Mr. U Kyung-Ha reflected on his visit to Almaty, which took place as part of his Eurasian diplomacy program from September 20-24.
The discussion primarily focused on enhancing tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Korea.

In response, Consul General Askar expressed strong support for this initiative, emphasizing the significance of Almaty’s role in fostering stronger bilateral relations. Following this, the Consul General arranged a meeting with Meirzhan Otynshiev, the chairman of the Almaty city Maslikhat.

Mr. Otynshiev warmly welcomed the Secretary General and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception that the Almaty delegation received in Busan during their visit in November of the previous year.

The meeting participants highlighted the active and growing cooperation between the sister cities and reiterated their commitment to further strengthening this partnership in the future.
