Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Busan recently met with General Director of the Busan Cinema Center Mr. Kim Jin-hye

Busan, September 3, 2024 - Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Busan Aslan Askar recently met with Mr. Kim Jin-hye, General Director of the Busan Cinema Center, to discuss ongoing and future collaborations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Busan Cinema Center.

During the meeting, Mr. Kim Jin-hye emphasized that the initiatives undertaken since the establishment of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Busan have significantly contributed to the development of cultural and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Busan. He also announced the signing of an agreement on mutual cooperation and development in the film industry between the Busan Cinema Center and Kazakhfilm.

This agreement is set to be formalized during the period of September 20-24, 2024, as part of a visit under the framework of Eurasian diplomacy. Consul General Askar expressed his support for the agreement, noting that the goal of the memorandum is to strengthen collaboration between Kazakhstan and Busan in various fields, including economics, tourism, culture, and creative industries.
