Ambassador of Kazakhstan Meets with Secretary General of the International Teqvoly Federation

Budapest, March 10, 2025 - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary Abzal Saparbekuly held a meeting with István Döbrei, Secretary General of the International Teqvoly Federation.

During the meeting, István Döbrei briefed the Ambassador on the Federation’s activities and current projects aimed at promoting Teqball and Teqvoly worldwide. He also informed the Ambassador about their plans to develop and popularize these sports in Kazakhstan.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects of organizing joint sports, youth, and charity events, and discussed potential areas for cooperation.

It should be noted that Teqball is a dynamic sport that combines elements of football and table tennis. It is played on a specially curved table, known as a Teq table, where players hit a football back and forth using any part of their body except their hands. Teqball is recognized for developing technical skills, concentration, and stamina, and it is gaining popularity worldwide as both a professional and amateur sport.

Teqvoly is an innovative sport that merges volleyball and Teqball. Played on the same curved Teq table, Teqvoly requires players to use their hands and arms to volley the ball over the net, following the basic rules of volleyball. The sport emphasizes agility, precision, and teamwork and is accessible to people of all ages and skill levels.

The International Teqvoly Federation (ITVF) is the governing body responsible for promoting and regulating the sport of Teqvoly globally. The Federation organizes international tournaments, training programs, and initiatives aimed at increasing the sport's visibility and accessibility. ITVF is committed to fostering youth engagement and promoting healthy lifestyles through sports.
